Student Life

Accommodation and Support
Bangor’s halls of residence create a welcoming and focused living environment for Postgraduates. You can choose between two residential villages on either side of the main University buildings, with room options including standard, ensuite, studio and townhouse accommodation. Living on campus includes gym and Campus Life membership as part of your rent, offering great value and convenience, all within walking distance of your classes.
Student support is central to life at Bangor. From financial guidance and counselling to dedicated assistance for disabled and neurodivergent students, the University’s support services are always on hand. The Study Skills Centre offers workshops to help you build confidence in your academic work, while research students can join a supportive writing group designed to strengthen your skills and community connections.
Postgraduates are assigned a Personal Tutor, an academic mentor who provides guidance and encouragement throughout your studies.
