Summary
The correlation between macroeconomics, banking, international finance and financial markets is explored throughout this course, giving you a deep insight and advanced knowledge of the wider world of global business and international finance and financial markets.
We train our students for careers as economists or managers in commerce, industry, banking, financial services or the public sector. This programme aims to equip you with a range of methodological and problem-solving skills and specialised knowledge relevant for international money and banking.
This programme complements the MSc in Money, Banking and Finance, and, as with that programme, is of particular interest to those wishing to pursue careers in the financial sector. It provides you with an advanced knowledge of the related disciplines of macroeconomics, banking, international finance and financial markets.

Entry requirements | In order to be considered, applicants will have or should be expecting to achieve an Honours degree (2:1 or higher) from a UK university (or overseas equivalent) in Economics or a related discipline. Applicants must have achieved a mark equivalent to a 2:2 at undergraduate level in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics or Statistics, and Mathematics or a Quantitative module. Applicants who demonstrate being able to exceed the minimum entry requirements will be given preference. IELTS 6.5 with no less that 6.0 in any band |
