OurMSc in Civil Engineering will help you meet the further learning requirements to become a Chartered Engineer, as it is accredited by the Institution of Civil Engineers. For non-civil engineering graduates, who can demonstrate competence in mathematics and physics, we offer a two year integrated degree. If you are a UK/EU student, you will have the option to organise your own 11-month industrial work placement, which would provide you with valuable work experience.

First- or upper second-class degree or an equivalent standard in other qualifications approved by the University in a relevant engineering, science or technology subject. All applicants for the conversion degree in civil engineering will need to demonstrate their competence at mathematics or physics. This would normally be either through the successful completion of mathematics modules as part of their first degree or completion of A-level mathematics or physics.
