Summary
Our programmes in transportation planning and engineering are ideal for graduates interested in a career in transport, and for professionals employed in the transport sector who want to expand their skills and knowledge. Our courses offer a range of modules under three specialist themes, allowing you to focus on your particular interests and develop skills required for work in this sector. You will benefit from an overnight field trip and from undertaking an independent research project.

Entry requirements | You’ll need a 2:1 degree in: engineering; maths; geography; planning; a physical science. If you have a 2:1 degree in another subject please contact the programme lead to discuss whether you are eligible to apply. If you don't have the exact entry requirements, but you have significant work experience in this sector we’ll assess your relevant professional experience, your subject knowledge and your aptitude for learning. Your application will be considered on individual merit and you may be asked to attend an interview. English Language Requirements: All applicants must demonstrate they possess at least a minimum standard of English language proficiency: Band B, IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in all components.
