Summary
This course provides the essential framework, concepts and toolkit required for the strategic management of sustainable logistics and the supply chain. Alongside the essential skills and knowledge of effective and efficient supply chain management, you’ll also study issues of sustainability and how they are related to the logistics sector. You’ll have the opportunity to study the challenges of achieving clean growth through circular economy thinking and the responsible management of resources and waste minimization.
The pursuit of sustainability will be explored using theory and practice-based frameworks related to business responsibility, corporate sustainability and sustainable development, and students will be introduced to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and will examine how businesses can collaborate to achieve them.
