MSc
Summary
This course provides the essential framework, concepts and toolkit required for the strategic management of logistics and the supply chain.
The effective and efficient management of the Supply Chains has been recognised as key to achieving a competitive advantage. A supply chain is described as the flow of products or services from their point of origin through to the final point of sale or use. Logistics seeks to optimise these flows, from both a physical and information standpoint.
Our Logistics and Supply Chain Management MSc course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) and the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). You will also have access to industry planning software ‘SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)’ that allows businesses to organise and manage business operations to give you the opportunity to experience how decisions are made in industry.
**Professional links and accreditation:**
We have links with a number of professional bodies that can help your professional development and offer additional insights to your industry and profession. Huddersfield Business School works closely with the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) and the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS), providing you with access to a number of guest lectures and networking events throughout your studies.
Huddersfield Business School is an accredited member of AACSB International—The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Less than 6% of business schools worldwide have obtained this prestigious accreditation.
AACSB-accredited schools have successfully undergone a rigorous review process conducted by their peers in the business education community, ensuring that they have the resources, credentials, and commitment needed to provide students with a first-rate, future-focused business education. As a result, AACSB-accredited schools produce graduates who are highly skilled and more desirable to employers than other non-accredited schools.
