Summary

As a postgraduate researcher, you’re able to draw on a wide range of expertise from more than 50 academic staff.

You’ll be supported by a supervisory team with expertise in your subject and/or research approach. A research degree will open the door to work in full-time research or teaching, or provide a greater understanding of professional practice.

Our specialisms are consumer culture and identity, digital environments, destination marketing and sustainable tourism.

Study style

There is a strong applied research focus and particular interests in: enterprise and productivity human resources and leadership, management accounting, financial management, as well as marketing and consumer behaviour.

We may also be able to offer you effective supervision for cross-disciplinary projects that link to engineering technology, computing, education and health.

You’ll receive updates on opportunities to participate in training offered through other universities and bodies. You’re also encouraged to attend national and international academic conferences in the latter stages of your research to present your ideas, and receive feedback at such events.
