Summary

This conversion programme is designed for graduates in any area who’d like to pursue a career in professional psychology. After completing this programme you’ll qualify you for entry to further training, in specialisms such as forensic, clinical and sports psychology.

Whether you’ve studied psychology and didn’t gain accreditation with the British Psychological Society (BPS), or you’re looking to change career paths after studying another subject, this could be the course for you. Converting your degree to a new subject area can be a challenge – we’ll aim to build on your existing graduate skills and help you with your individual development.

Study style

Taught by a team of Psychologists who are committed to offering an excellent student experience, the course takes a strongly applied approach which draws upon the experiences and insight of everyone involved. You’ll learn through lectures, seminars, tutorials and lab sessions – and you’ll be assessed through research reports, essays, presentations and a dissertation.

To help you make your way through quite an intensive learning experience, there’s a close and supportive relationship between our expert staff and students, as well as a Personal Tutor to help you individually. You’ll also find the other learners on your course provide a great source of social support.
