Summary
This programme offers the opportunity to learn from leading academics and practitioners working in the field of sustainable tourism management.
By stimulating debate and providing a critical evaluation of theory and practice, the course provides an excellent understanding of the role of management in international tourism. You will learn about management decision-making, the significance and complexity of managing human and financial resources, and the critical issues involved in marketing international tourism and travel.
All our programmes are underpinned by an emphasis on the impact of globalisation for the international tourism industry, and a critical evaluation of ethical and social responsibility in business, and tourist behaviour. The course aligns with our vision of tourism as a key driver for economic diversion and growth, environmental regeneration, socio-economic integration and inclusive development.
