Digital Marketing & Channel Management: The Course
In response to the evolving business landscape we are introducing the Digital Marketing and Channel Management MSc. This course will be of particular value if you are planning a career in digital marketing, communications, marketing consultancy or managing business development.

Learning is focussed around channel management and how it has changed significantly with the disruption of technology.

You will explore industry hot topics in detail, studying modules on a range of key areas including social media, entrepreneurship, marketing analytics and retailing in an international environment. You will gain a practical understanding of the strategic and operational aspects involved in the application of technology to marketing. Learn and understand practical analytics such as pricing strategy and forecasting and how to apply them within marketing.

This course is taught through interactive lecture classes as well as seminars and laboratory sessions in smaller groups. You will also attend talks by industry guest speakers, who will share practical examples and help you reflect on what you learn, giving you the opportunity to develop your professional network.

Placement opportunity
A 15-month placement version of the programme will allow you to put your knowledge into practice, enrich your CV and continue your learning on-the-job. At Surrey Business School we provide support and guidance to help you secure a relevant placement, as well as access to a vacancy portal which advertises a variety of placement opportunities each year. For anyone that chooses to not do a placement, you will complete nine months of teaching followed by three months to work on a dissertation.

In addition to academic excellence and industry exposure, this course prioritises personal and professional development, further helping you to gain desirable skills and enhance your career prospects.
