Summary

The MA International Education is an Independent Distance Learning (IDL) course designed specifically for those who are teaching in international schools, allowing you to gain a very well-respected Masters degree from anywhere in the world.

During the course you will undertake research on interventions in the classroom, and also a research topic of your choice. You will then choose two modules from the list opposite that covers areas such as; developing reflective practice, advanced pedagogical practice, assessment theory, organisational effectiveness in education, the nature of teaching and learning and and introduction to criticality In the final stage of the course you will examine the international school curriculum and issues around leading and managing.

The IDL aspect is ideal for people working in international education who want to gain a relevant Masters qualification to advance their careers but cannot attend the University. You can learn from anywhere in the world as learning materials will be available via e-journals/books and other online resources that the University will provide.

When you graduate from this course you will be ready to take on a role in senior management, or work in sectors relating to education, governance and policy.
