Summary
This programme is designed around the needs of experienced neonatal practitioners looking to further develop practice and/or prepare for clinical practice roles at a senior level. It will enable you to strengthen your existing knowledge, skills and competencies while also preparing you for roles that require greater autonomy, responsibility and more complex clinical decision-making.
This pathway is accredited by Health Education England's Centre for Advancing Practice. Completion of HEE accredited programmes/pathways is set to become one of the benchmark routes to recognition for Advanced Clinical Practitioners, and accreditation is also designed to ensure a consistent level of programme quality across England

Entry requirements | UK 2.2 Hons degree or above or an equivalent standard in other qualifications approved by the University; a current registration with the NMC; at least two years relevant post-registration clinical experience and a current job contract in a clinical or clinically related area. A current professional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. A current job contract in a clinical or clinically related area. (You will also need the support of a clinical mentor who is able to assess your practice competency and support your learning). At least two years relevant post registration clinical experience. At least one satisfactory reference (given the practice related requirements this should be from your current employer and include confirmation of the required practice experience and mentor support; on some occasions a second reference will be required). English language: band C, IELTS 6.5 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in all components |
