Summary
Our MSc Biomedical Engineering degree is an advanced engineering degree that embraces biology and medicine to solve medical and healthcare challenges facing society.
Biomedical Engineering aims to create devices and systems to improve health and wellbeing, for example technologies for diagnosing and treating medical conditions, systems for imaging or monitoring patients or assisting them in their daily living.
You'll learn the skills to develop new engineering solutions and
prepare to take on a leading role in developing future technologies and enabling patients, carers, healthcare practitioners and providers to improve and maintain health and wellbeing.
You can specialise in one of five pathways: musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, imaging, diagnostic systems, audiology.

Summary
Our Biomedical Engineering programme is designed for engineering and physical science graduates who want to work at the interface of engineering, biology and medicine. We'll equip you with specialist knowledge, expertise and the skills to integrate biology and medicine with engineering to solve problems related to living systems.

Entry requirements | You’ll need a 2:1 degree in: biomedical engineering; If you don't have the exact entry requirements, but you have significant work experience in this sector we’ll assess your relevant professional experience, your subject knowledge and your aptitude for learning. Your application will be considered on individual merit and you may be asked to attend an interview. English Language Requirements: All applicants must demonstrate they possess at least a minimum standard of English language proficiency: Band B, IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in all components.
