The world of banking is changing massively with the introduction of new technologies that are disrupting the financial market. Mobile banking and social media are giving all of us new opportunities for using and controlling our financial decisions.
This new programme puts a strong emphasis on financial innovation. You will look at the influence of mobile banking on the finance sector while developing a strong knowledge of modern finance and banking theory as well as appropriate accounting procedure relevant for banks and other financial institutions.
You will develop skills that will enable you to work not only in the traditional sectors but also new and emerging platforms such as peer to peer lending.

Normally a minimum 2:2 honours degree or equivalent or successful completion of the Graduate Certificate.
A wide range of professional qualifications are also accepted either in partial or complete fulfilment of entry requirements.
Where a student has gained a recognised honours degree but does not meet the normal entry qualification requirement, they may still be considered for entry if they can demonstrate relevant work experience of a minimum two years duration post study and acceptable level of responsibility.
