Summary
Complete you journey to become a skilled, clinical psychologist. On completing the DClinPsy, you'll be eligible to register with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) allowing you to work effectively within the NHS and equivalent organisations.
The programme is run in collaboration with the University of Lincoln and in partnership with the clinical psychology services of three local NHS Trusts in Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire.
The course is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS), which confers eligibility for becoming a Chartered Psychologist.

Summary
The course has 3 main components: University based academic teaching, service based practice learning, and clinically relevant research. University based teaching takes place over 2 semesters: the 1st (September to January) is based at the University of Lincoln; the 2nd (February to June) is based at the University of Nottingham's Institute of Work, Health and Organisations. Practice learning takes place throughout the year and is based at placements in services in Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire. Research is conducted throughout the programme leading to the completion of a doctoral thesis and the completion of a small scale research project.
