Summary

The department is pursuing several relevant projects to examine the role of stem cells in a variety of tissues and organs including cardiac and skeletal muscle, neural, blood and vasculature, and primordial germ cells. It is employing a range of model organisms in these studies and projects are available in each of the areas described.
