Summary
Do you believe that literature holds the key to better understanding a country and its people? Do you have a passion for gaining insights into other cultures?
This MA will allow you to study a range of literatures in either their original or translated forms. You will examine the way cultures interact and be provided with relevant theories to use as a research framework.
We specialise in French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian and Serbian/Croatian, the Americas and Africa. This programme provides one of the most comprehensive comparative literature coverages in the UK.
You may also choose to acquire skills in literary translation.
