Manufacturing engineering involves the research and development of systems, processes, machines, tools and equipment.
Our three year PhD is based within the Faculty of Engineering enabling you to choose from a wide range of research areas and work across traditional research boundaries being part of interdisciplinary teams.
The project can cover many different fields within this discipline, these are just an example of some fields you could consider:
