Summary
The main aim of the programme is to enable individuals to develop their skills and practice to better equip them for a career as a strength and conditioning coach, fitness coach, or sports scientist in applied sport science.
The programme will develop your ability to work with contemporary hardware and software, linked to training and testing when working with athletes, understand advanced periodisation models and develop athletes in a high-performance setting. Working with staff from world leading School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences as well as external experts embedded in industry you will also develop the ability to critically reflect on your philosophy, practice and organisational context and through research activities increase your competence in knowledge generation and implementation.
This programme is ideally suited for those already working in sport or those interested in embarking in the domain.
