Summary
The aim of this programme is to provide students with an enhanced preparation for continuing academic study or Part A of the Membership of the Faculty of Public Health (UK) examination.
A wider range of skills and expertise than can be covered in the standard MPH is often requested by employers and individuals who want to be knowledgeable about a wider range of topic areas.
This programme provides a broader version of the current MPH programme. To acquire and MPH (SEAL), students need to complete 170 credits of taught modules and complete a 60 credit dissertation, as opposed to the usual 120 credits of taught modules. By being formally assessed and accredited in more modules, the MPH (SEAL) allows students to demonstrate their wider competency range.
Please note, the MPH (SEAL) is only available for part-time study.
