Research skills are honed through project work undertaken in the specialist fields of hydrodynamics, ship dynamics, structures and design.
Students undertake modules to the value of 180 credits.
The programme consists of three core modules (90 credits), a ship design exercise (45 credits) and a research project (45 credits).
Upon successful completion of 180 credits, you will be awarded a MSc in Naval Architecture.
