Summary

This course will develop your intellectual, practical, and professional skills in the analysis, interpretation and understanding of environmental engineering principles, preparing you for a career in the environmental, consultancy, regulatory, management, and engineering industry or further study. This degree is accredited as meeting the requirements for Further Learning for a Chartered Engineer (CEng) for candidates who have already acquired an Accredited CEng (Partial) BEng (Hons) undergraduate first degree. The course will develop your understanding of environmental engineering principles and provide you with relevant professional skills through practical field and lab-based tutorials and study trips as well as strong industry involvement in the programme. In doing so, the course will equip you for a career in the environmental consultancy, regulatory and management industry or for further research studies. This programme is accredited as meeting the requirements for “Further Learning” for Chartered Engineer (CEng) status in combination with a relevant undergraduate first degree and thus provides a key building block for a successful career in industry.
