Summary

The number of connected Internet of Things devices is projected to rise from 16.4 billion in 2022, to 30.9 billion by 2025 (Statista). This course is designed to meet the demand for a new kind of IT specialist who can engineer these innovative interactive products and smart objects, and embed them into larger systems and architectures.

This is an exciting new programme that merges and replaces the previous MSc Internet of Things and MSc Telecommunications and Wireless Networks courses.

  • Develop a global perspective on how to engineer new items.

  • Take advantage of our links with IBM, HP, BBC and Tech City IT start-ups.

  • Tailor course content by choosing between the AI and Future Networks streams.

  • Learn from academics conducting world-leading research into networks and systems, antennas and electromagnetics and cognitive science.
