This course covers all the essentials of human resource management and develops your skills up to a strategic level, culminating in a dissertation. It includes the opportunity to undertake optional modules to tailor your degree in areas including employment relations, work design, learning and development and employment law. Students with a particular interest in employment relations can choose this as the theme of their dissertation, enabling a focused study supported by specialist tutors.
Our MSc Human Resource Management programme is taught by academic experts with both a strong track record in human resource management related research and practitioner HR experience. It focuses on developing critical thinking and analytical skills alongside more practical skills required for a career in people management. These practical skills include making presentations, role-play practice in handling challenging situations, and problem solving skills through case study analysis.
