Summary
Our Special Care Dentistry Master’s programme will give you a theoretical foundation in the subject and develop your clinical skills so that you can competently manage dental patients with special care needs including patients with intellectual, social and medical special needs, physical and mental disabilities and genetic conditions. We put particular emphasis on the use of both pharmacological and non- pharmacological behaviour management techniques including cognitive behavioural therapy, analgesia, conscious sedation and general anaesthesia.
