The Orthodontics MSc joint degree with the University of Malta provides academic, practical and clinical teaching in modern orthodontics including normal development and growth of the craniofacial region, development of the dentition, orthodontic tooth movement, treatment planning, management of malocclusion, contemporary appliance systems and treatment mechanics.

Students on this course will spend the majority of their time in Malta receiving training at a modern clinical facility, whilst following an integrated educational programme that follows the framework of Orthodontics postgraduate specialist training at King's College London.

This course is solely open to international students but is closed for applications currently.

UK/EU candidates are required to apply for orthodontic training posts through Health Education England via the national recruitment process. Full details are published on the London Postgraduate Medical and Dental Education website as soon as they become available. Successful UK/EU applicants within national recruitment are then required to apply for the Orthodontics MSc, based at King's College London, for the academic component, following the allocation of a training post.
