University of Warwick
Overview
The University of Warwick is a world-leading campus university, renowned for its excellent teaching and world-leading research. We are ranked 64th in the QS World University Guide 2023, and listed within the top ten UK universities in all three major national league tables. However, we are much more than our rankings. Warwick is a place that inspires, excites, invigorates and supports.
Our campus is located in Coventry, a modern city with high street shops, restaurants, nightclubs, and bars, sitting alongside medieval monuments. Many of our students choose to live here, or in the nearby Warwickshire towns of Leamington Spa and Kenilworth. We have access to a great transport network right from our campus, so we are well located for nearby travel and across the UK and Europe. In fact, Coventry is just a 20 minute train from Birmingham, and just an hour from London.
The University of Warwick is named in the top 40 most international universities worldwide (QS World University Rankings 2022). Home to over 9,500 students enrolled from 147 countries, we offer extensive support to international students, ensuring they feel prepared for university life.
Teaching and learning
Teaching is at the heart of everything we do. We challenge and inspire our students to think critically and innovatively, helping them develop their independent learning skills alongside structured teaching.
This year, we were named University of the Year For Teaching Quality by The Times and Sunday Times, an accolade that attests to the dedication and inspiration of our teaching staff.
Careers and employability
We are the 6th most targeted University by the UK’s top 100 graduate employers (The Graduate Market in 2022, High Fliers Research Ltd.), so you can be sure employers will welcome your skills and expertise. This includes:
