Strathclyde has one of the largest and best equipped Engineering faculties in Scotland, with capabilities ranging from developing devices for heart surgery to powering the world with more efficient renewable energies.

The Faculty of Science investigates the challenges and possibilities of the natural and technological world, from drug discovery and public health to environmental concerns, tackling cybercrime and understanding space.

Strathclyde Business School was named ‘Business School of the Year’ in 2016 by Times Higher Education and is one of the few institutions in the world to have achieved triple accreditation from AACSB, AMBA & EQUIS. Strathclyde Student’s Association represents students both within the University and the wider community, and there are lots of ways to become involved in the Union’s activities and make new friends.

Our campus is right in the heart of Glasgow, Scotland’s largest city. Glasgow has one of the most famous music scenes in the world, with an average of 120 gigs per week taking place in the city in a multitude of venues including the legendary Barrowland Ballroom. The city is bursting with things to do and is home to more than 20 world-class museums and art galleries; and is proud to have Europe’s largest civic arts collection with works by Dali, Van Gogh, Degas and Monet all available to view free-of-charge in venues around the city.

With two international airports, Glasgow is only one hour’s flight from London. Our campus is close to a main bus and train station, with local and UK-wide links. A great base to travel from, the city is only a short journey from the beautiful landscape of the Trossachs and the Highlands.
