Summary
Develop astute business acumen on an MBA focused on financial success. Our strategic perspective will help you gain the skills and knowledge you need to accelerate your career.
We’ll show you how to make growth decisions based on sound financial data. You’ll reflect on the global economy in bust and boom times and explore international markets as investments. You’ll also study a range of contemporary issues including globalisation, ethics and social responsibility.
We set our MBA teaching in an international context with examples taken from the global economy. You’ll take a strategic focus across the course and concentrate on the major decisions that organisations have to make to determine their overall direction.
Alongside finance, you’ll study the value of strategic human resources and marketing. You’ll look at case studies on innovation and the impact of the consumer. At the same time, you’ll also study contemporary business theory.
You don’t need a business or management degree to join us. Our students have varied work and academic experience often with a science or technology background.
**What you'll study**
Learn to steer a company with data-backed insights on our MBA Business Administration (Finance).
Study business accounting and international finance. See how to put finance in context and join current industry debate. Investigate money markets and analyse money unions in Europe and around the world. You’ll analyse global financial crises, see how to spot business opportunities, and find out how financial data affects business strategy.
You’ll develop an understanding of human resource management and marketing as business assets. Debate with your peers on globalisation, ethics and social responsibility in business.
Strategy is a core leadership skill. Learn how to create a competitive advantage and see what elements are essential for success. Ask questions about new ideas. You’ll get the tools you need to judge innovation and take an idea from paper to production.
By the end of your MBA, you’ll understand critical aspects of business in a global financial context.
Level | RQF Level 7 |
---|---|
Entry requirements | You should have a degree equivalent to UK first-class or second-class honours (2:2 or above). No specific subjects are required.
