The Division of Human and Social Sciences
The Division covers a wide range of subjects, each School their own subject-specific research culture and a strong tradition of interdisciplinary research. Postgraduate study is offered at our UK campuses in Canterbury and Medway, both within easy reach of London, as well as at our specialist European Centre at the Brussels School of International Studies.
Postgraduate programmes
A research Master's degree is studied over one year full-time while a PhD involves extended study over three or four years. All our postgraduate programmes can also be studied part-time.
We also offer a selection of conversion programmes within the division to develop your skills and improve your career prospects.
School of Politics and International Relations
The School of Politics and International Relations at Kent is at the forefront of contemporary politics and international studies. We are a dynamic place to study with international links – we have a specialist postgraduate centre in Brussels and partnerships with top institutions in Germany and Russia.
