The School of Law and Politics at Cardiff University is research-led with a global reputation for excellent research and high quality teaching. The School of Law and Politics also has a vibrant research culture offering students opportunities for both full- and part-time study leading to MPhil and PhD degrees. The School hosts a PhD in Empirical Studies in Law, which receives financial support for PhD studentships from the Economic and Social Research Council's 'Wales Doctoral Training Centre'.
