This programme aims to develop your technical capabilities as well as a critical understanding of the ethical and social impacts of dealing with text data, covering technical aspects of the most recent and cutting-edge Natural Language Processing (NLP) technologies.

| Entry requirements | Typically, you will need to have either a 2:1 honours degree in a relevant subject area such as computer science, computing, linguistics, mathematics or a cognate subject, or an equivalent international degree; or, a university-recognised equivalent academic qualification. If you have a 2:2 honours degree in computer science, computing, linguistics, mathematics or a cognate subject you may be invited to participate in a telephone or remote interview. English language - IELTS with an overall score of 6.5 with 5.5 in all subskills, or an accepted equivalent.
