Summary
Being curious and questioning is our starting premise for the MA Education. This course starts with fundamental questions about learning and seeks to examine the complexity of a basic human right; the right to an education. The course challenges you to reflect and review values and philosophies of education and learning drawing upon your own practice. Criticality and self-reflection as key learning attributes.
This course is for those interested and passionate about education and learning and who are committed to adopting a questioning approach. You may be in a professional role working in school or educational setting or whose work involves a substantial component of the design and delivery of training within their organisation. You may be at the beginning of your career, looking forward, or in a more established leadership role. You may be a volunteer working in an education setting, or in a support role.
Our community of learners come from a wide range of local, national and international settings. This broad range of learners bring a richness to our discussion drawing upon diversity of experiences. The MA provides a stepping stone to both professional leadership responsibilities and to doctoral study, such as our EdD or PhD programmes.
