Summary

What is special about this course? Why do faith perspectives always seem to clash with the voice of a largely secular culture? Is it even possible to be a Christian and a politician in today’s world? What does it mean to be a Christian artist, financier, engineer, musician, or farmer in this period of history?

Develop an inter-disciplinary approach to an integrative and thoroughly creational Christian theology, on this MLitt Theology, Culture and Worldview.

Let us introduce you to the theological methods, categories, and concepts you need to relate Christian tradition to every aspect of life in the contemporary world. Whether you have a background as a minister, church worker, professional, artist, or business person, draw strongly on the outlook of classical neo-Calvinism and become equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to analyse and understand our cultural landscape, and begin to respond to the opportunities and challenges faced by society and the church.

How will I study my course? ◾ Full-time ◾ Part-time (structured) ◾ You will study through a combination of video-conference tutorials, online lectures and online learning using the university's virtual learning environment (VLE) ◾ You will have support from your tutors throughout your course

How long will my course last? ◾ Full-time: 12-18 months @ 35 hours per week ◾ Part-time (structured): 3 years @ 12 hours per week ◾ Number of hours per week indicates the total number of hours you should dedicate to the course, which includes time spent in tutorials and lectures, and your own time spent on individual study and research
