Summary
Become a policy-oriented development economist in government, international development organisations, consultancies or universities. Learn how to:
design and evaluate policy, informed by latest research and best practice frame complex development challenges, systematically and creatively communicate technical analysis clearly and coherently.
As well as gaining a solid grounding in micro- and macroeconomic theory, you’ll learn to analyse contemporary theory, debates and evidence on a wide range of issues including:
poverty and inequality human capital markets for labour land and credit public policy economic growth management of resource wealth trade and aid.
