Summary
The MSc Community Health Studies (District Nursing) is focused towards inspiring, innovating and implementing improvements in the quality of specialist district nursing care. It is a natural progression route for graduate nurses who desire to develop mastery in specialist practice, in line with the Post Registration Nursing Career Framework (WAG, 2010) and meets NMC standards for community nursing specialist practice.
This district nursing course is fully funded by the Welsh Government and gives you a comprehensive and thorough understanding of the contemporary primary and community health agenda. It will support your progression towards becoming a district nursing leader for the future. When you successfully complete this degree, you will have the NMC recordable specialist practice qualification in Community Health District Nursing.
