Summary
Ideal preparation for PhD study, you'll develop advanced skills in legal research methods and analysis of law and legal issues. This programme consists of a very small cohort of high-calibre students, who receive sustained training in methodological approaches to legal research. There is an emphasis on doctrinal, theoretical and contextual study of law, and your self-understanding as a participant in the practice of legal scholarship. You can advance your knowledge of research in areas including jurisprudence, criminology and international human rights.
