Summary

The University of Liverpool's Veterinary Business Management programme is open to anyone currently engaged in, or seeking to be involved in, veterinary business management, including practice/office managers and veterinary staff.

Method of Teaching PgCert (VBM) modules are delivered as part of a fully-taught, structured e-learning programme, designed to help candidates to get the most from their student experience. Candidates also benefit from the support and guidance of subject specialists throughout, along with facilitated discussion with their peers.

The virtual learning environment also includes access to the University of Liverpool’s online library.

How to Enrol Enrolment on the PgCert (VBM) programme is open to candidates who hold an undergraduate degree in Veterinary Science, Veterinary Nursing or a Business Management related subject. However, for candidates who do not have the necessary prerequisite HE training, but who have been working in Veterinary Business Management for over 12 months, applicants would be considered on a case-by-case basis for entry onto the programme, with a minimum of two references required. If the applicant is from a country where English is not the first language, they will be required to show evidence of attainment of English at a minimum IELTS score of 7 or equivalent.

Candidates wishing to enrol should complete the appropriate booking form. Candidates who are new to studying PgCert (VBM) modules at the University of Liverpool should also complete a New Student Registration Form.

Please note that precedence for places on the PgCert (VBM) modules goes to those students completing them as part of the Certificate in Veterinary Business Management, rather than those who are completing them as an optional C module for part of the CertAVP or on a CPD only basis.
