Summary
One in two people in the UK will develop cancer over the course of their lives, and as cancer treatment continues to improve, there is an increasing number of patients surviving and undertaking rehabilitative therapies, to aid recovery. This programme has been designed to provide postgraduate training and education for current healthcare professionals, or those aspiring to work in this rapidly evolving field.
Studying this course at Hull, you’ll benefit from strong links with a number of community and health settings, providing excellent opportunities for work placements to apply your skills in real-world settings. The University works closely with the City Healthcare Partnership, which run rehabilitation programmes in Hull and the East Riding. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in a major research investigation, publishing in peer-reviewed journals and helping to develop an evidence-base for the discipline of cancer rehabilitation in the UK.
