At every stage, the Hertfordshire MBA offers you opportunities to engage with business, learn through practical, work-based assignments and apply your knowledge in real-world settings. In your Second Year, you’ll work with an innovative enterprise, or develop your own, on our Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development module. It’s an exciting opportunity to work with practitioners, addressing live challenges facing a commercial or social enterprise. In the Final Year of your Master’s, you’ll also undertake an applied individual project. As part of this, you’ll conduct an original piece of academic research and a piece of business consultancy. You’ll work directly for your chosen client, delivering tangible, value-adding contributions to decision-making and practice.

An Honours degree of at least 2.2 classification, in a business or non business-related discipline, from a UK University; other equivalent of the above from a recognised University overseas; or a degree equivalent professional qualification; or a postgraduate qualification from a UK university or its equivalent from a recognised overseas University; and typically 5 years of relevant full-time work experience. Those with less than 5 years full-time work experience will be considered on an individual basis taking into consideration their business exposure, leadership skills and professional achievements over the last 3 years. Appropriate managerial work experience will demonstrate identifiable responsibility, such as the supervision/direction of the work of other employees and/or budgetary control.
