Summary

In the framework of our Master’s degree, entrepreneurship is defined as a process that optimizes the quest for new ideas and their commercialization. It focuses on innovation processes in established companies as well as the establishment of new businesses. The success of entrepreneurship – whether in relation to small, medium-sized, or large international businesses or public organizations – is closely linked to leaders’ ability to anticipate opportunities and changes in their environments. Our graduates will have acquired the necessary skills to develop new fields of activity within established businesses or startup companies as part of School of Management Fribourg’s Master’s of Science in Business Administration and Major in Entrepreneurship. By choosing the entrepreneurship track, the program participant has a set of complementary content modules that rely on various learning methodologies. The classes and workshop cover the discipline’s theoretical and scientific challenges. Action learning projects simulate opportunities and difficulties faced in the real world. Lectures, discussions, and projects stimulate the individual’s ability to anticipate and act. The course also includes a two-week overseas study trip. This unique program also benefits from internationally renowned faculty members.
