Summary
Preventing and controlling the spread of infection is one of the key priorities for hospital staff, environmental health officers and healthcare professionals throughout the world. This PG Cert Infection Control will equip nurses and other healthcare practitioners with the skills necessary to lead best practice in this area.
This short course will provide you with an introduction into the world of microbiology. You will learn useful management strategies for patient care, and how to prevent the further spread of infectious diseases. In addition, you will gain invaluable knowledge and skills to develop and implement effective infection control measures.
This PG Cert is available as a standalone qualification, but you can also use it to progress onto either the PG Dip or MSc Infection Control.
