Summary
This MSc Infection Control has been specifically designed for nurses and other health professionals who have an infection control role within their workplace, but it is also open to anyone with an interest in this area. The fundamental underpinning of this Masters is that prevention is better than the cure and it is this mentality that will hopefully make outbreaks a thing of the past.
This Masters will provide you with the latest knowledge of infection control practices as well as the ability to implement strategies to reduce the spread of infection and respond appropriately to an outbreak within a community. On completion of your studies, you will be well-equipped to advise policy makers and other clinicians on matters relating to infection control.

| Entry requirements | At University of Essex Online, we believe that everyone should be able to access education. That is why we offer two different entry routes onto our MSc Infection Control, which take into account both academic and work-based experience. Our courses are taught in English so to study with us you must have an IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5 or equivalent. If you don’t hold an IELTS or equivalent qualification, you will be required to pass a free online English test to assess your proficiency. |
