In our MA and MFA Dance programmes, you’ll explore the diverse world of dance, focusing on non-Western forms like hip-hop, social, and urban dance. You’ll develop your artistic voice while gaining practical experience in choreography, curation, and production. These dance programmes blend practice with theory, preparing you for a wide range of careers in the dance industry.

You will:

Study a broad spectrum of dance forms, challenging traditional Western dance canons. Learn from UEL’s expert staff and benefit from nearly two decades of teaching in dance Develop essential skills in choreography, performance, curation, and dance entrepreneurship. Gain hands-on experience through industry placements with partners such as East London Dance and Breakin’ Convention. Graduate ready to pursue roles such as performer, choreographer, curator, or creative producer.
