The programme provides students with deeper knowledge and advanced skills that will allow them to contribute to the design and development of machine learning algorithms for automation, predictive modelling, and decision-making.
The programme uses a series of face-to-face lectures, hands-on workshops (using Python, Hadoop, Spark, and Matlab tools) and lab-based learning as a way of acquiring an AI knowledge base. Moreover, other teaching methods, practical sessions, seminars and reflection on work-based practice to enforce learning and professional skills are also employed.
