Summary
The course provide dentists with knowledge in forensic odontology and legal and ethical aspects of Dentistry.
The general aims of the course are: • To train dentists in the basic underlying scientific principles of Forensic Odontology. • To build attributes, knowledge, and skills that experts must develop to act as an Expert Witness. To develop and assess practical skills in Forensic case work of several disciplines. • To develop an understanding of the legal and ethical issues surrounding Dentistry. • To provide experience in research methods in Forensic Dentistry

Entry requirements | Prospective applicants must hold a recognised dental degree (BDS or equivalent). At least 2 years post-qualification dental experience is desirable.
