- The Derby Packed Lunch Trial; using behavioural insights to reduce primary school children’s sugar consumption
- What is the role of stress cardiovascular reactivity in health behaviour change?
- Systematic Review of Self-Monitoring of Blood Glucose in Patients With Type 2 Diabetes
- Atrial fibrillation, quality of life and distress: a cluster analysis of cognitive and behavioural responses
You will also have the opportunity to conduct your own research, which the teaching team will support you to have published where appropriate.

Summary
Apply core psychological knowledge to understanding the experience of health and illness, explaining and changing health related behaviour and improving health related outcomes.
This course is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) so, when you graduate, you will have completed Stage One training in Health Psychology, the first step towards Chartered Membership of the Society and registration as a health psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Successful completion of this course also fulfils stage one of the requirements towards Chartered Membership of the BPS and full membership of the Division of Health Psychology, if you hold Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC).
