This course is designed for graduates who wish to pursue a career in organisational settings.

You'll gain skills in research design and planning, statistical data analysis, disseminating research (e.g. conferences, publishing in journals) and how to pursue a successful career in the field. You'll develop knowledge and understanding of a broad range of topics in organisational settings.

COURSE OVERVIEW We offer a stimulating and challenging environment where you can build on your existing undergraduate degree experience to advance your academic and professional development. You will gain specialised knowledge and a critical awareness of issues in Organisational psychology. Teaching is done through a variety of blended learning and campus-based activities explicitly designed to meet the needs of learners working in a range of contexts.

Our graduates have gone on to a wide range of roles working in different sectors. These include working in the third sector or charities. Others have pursued PhDs and continued their careers in academia. Others have gone on to pursue postgraduate training working toward a professional psychology role.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN The Psychology: Organisational course provides a set of modules that will enhance specialist subject knowledge and key skills for working in organisational environments, all delivered by subject specialists. It is designed to build on your existing learning experiences and offers flexible learning opportunities to improve your career prospects.

This programme recognises the status of the student as an expert in identifying what they want or need to study. All MSc Psychology: Organisational learners will be required to have undertaken the following core modules: Research Skills and Methods (20 credits), Professional Values and Ethics (20 credits) Negotiated Learning (20 credits), and a Dissertation (60 credits). You will also be required to complete three compulsory modules: Organisational Psychology (20 credits), Organisations and the Environment (20 credits) and Advanced Statistics (20 credits).
