Renewable and low-carbon engineering materials are a key focus in infrastructural development worldwide. Our course is unique in the UK for the breadth of materials and sustainable construction methods it introduces you to.
Focusing on sustainability, you'll explore how to use materials and design to enhance our built environment. You’ll develop an in-depth understanding of the behaviour of structural materials and their characteristics. We give you the skills to analyse different materials and investigate non-conventional technologies through specialist units.

A first or strong second class UK honours degree or internationally recognised equivalent in an engineering or science subject with a high level of structural analysis. Language requirements: IELTS 6.5 (at least 6.0 in each of the four components).
