Summary
This innovative concentration is in cooperation with the law school's groundbreaking Kay Bailey Hutchison Center for Energy, Law and Business. The KBH Energy Center promotes and sponsors education, collaborative research, critical discussion, policy analyses, and hands-on clinical experience to address the most pressing energy and natural-resource issues of our time. This unique degree program allows students to explore the intersections between natural resources law, environmental law, and international arbitration. Students in the program concentrate in one focus area of study, but take core courses in one or both of the other two areas and have the flexibility to integrate all three fields of study. Connections among the three areas are explored in courses, and students are encouraged to consider an interdisciplinary approach. This concentration is open to both students with a foreign law degree and students with a J.D.
